Plevris removed from Bar Association over Nazi salute in GD trial

Τhe Athens Bar Association’s disciplinary board removed lawyer Konstantinos Plevris, for a Nazi salute in front of judges and a crowd of people at an appeal hearing of Golden Dawn in October 2022.

Plevris, who is well-known for his Nazi support, was representing Giannis Lagos, a MEP and former GD member.

The unanimous decision of the ABA has immediate effect and is valid until a final decision is issued on a possible appeal that will be brought before the secondary disciplinary board.

Plevris will also have to hand over his ABA membership card to the association.

He is also the father of Health Minister Thanos Plevris, who criticized his father even though with several days delay.
