Clocks in Greece will be set an hour back in the night from Saturday to Sunday as the country abandons the Summer Daylight Saving Time and returns to ‘standard’ Winter Time.
The change will take places at 4 a.m. on Sunday morning. October 29, 2023, when the automatic clocks will be set back at 3 a.m.
The Transport Ministry said in a statement that the time change takes place in accordance with the summer time measures as set out in European directive 2000/84 of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU of January 19, 2001.
The Winter Time will change again to Summer Time on the last Sunday of March 2024, for another six months as usual.
