Greek Embassy in Beirut urges visitors to leave Lebanon

Τhe Greek Embassy in Beirut has urged visitors on Tuesday to leave Lebanon as soon as possible.

Due to the developing situation in the region, the Greek embassy in Beirut recommends to Greek visitors who are not permanent residents of Lebanon to leave the country.

In a post on X/Twitter, the Greek Embassy in Beirut advised Greek visitors who are not permanent residents of Lebanon to leave the country.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Given the current situation in the area, the Greek Embassy of Beirut recommends to all Greek visitors non-residents passing through and currently in Lebanon, to leave the country. pic.twitter.com/ZHyfJ5DwuW

Other countries have issued similar recommendations, reports daily naftemporiki.gr.

It is recalled that the Greek Foreign Ministry issued a travel recommendation on October 15 regarding travel to Israel, the Palestinian Territories and Lebanon:

“We recommend that Greek citizens avoid, except for absolutely necessary, visits to Israel, the Palestinian Territories and Lebanon,” the Greek Foreign Ministry had said .
