An airplane of the Greek Aegean Airlines made an emergency landing at Naples airport in Italt on Monday noon, following signs of gradual decompression in its cabin.
The plane was flying from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Barcelona, Spain, with 156 passengers on board.
As the company informed, the passengers disembarked safely and it has already dispatched another aircraft to continue their journey.
The plane was flying from Thessaloniki to Barcelona with 156 passengers and 6 crew members.
Aegean Airlines announcement via state broadcaster ERT:
“AEGEAN informs that on flight A3 560 from Thessaloniki to Barcelona with 156 passengers and 6 crew members there was an indication of gradual decompression in the aircraft cabin. The captain, as required by procedure, requested permission to make an emergency landing at the nearest airport in Naples.
All passengers disembarked safely and the airline has already dispatched another aircraft to allow passengers to continue their journey to their final destination.”
