Ferries remain docked at the port of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrion on Monday, September 11, due to strong winds in the Aegean Sea reaching 8 to 9 Beaufort locally.

Closed is also the Rio-Antirio line.

The morning itinerary Volos-Sporades was reportedly canceled on Monday morning.

Itineraries in the Saronic Gulf operate as usual.

Passengers due to travel via the seaway should contact local port authorities and travel agents.

It is recalled that ferries and ships will remain docked also on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, due to a 24-hour strike launched by the Greek Seamen Federation to protest the brutal murder of a ferry passenger by crew members last week.
