Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced on Monday he was tested positive for Covid-19 and that he would self-isolate.
Mitsotakis returned from a visit to Turkey on Sunday where he met President Erdogan and the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
On Monday posted a video message explaining that he will be working from home.
Mitsotakis: Covid is still here
“Lately we have all been dealing with the war in Ukraine. But the coronavirus is still here. In the daily test I did this morning I tested positive, so I will be isolated at home and work from there. Remember that triple vaccination provides the best protection against serious illness. I am sure that everything is going well and that very soon I will be in the office again,” the Greek Prime Minister said.
