Athens lawyers to abstain 5 days from all court-related duties

The Athens Bar Association on Thursday announced a five-day abstention from all court-related duties in protest to the government’s new taxation bill.

The five-day abstention from court duties starts on Monday, November 27, and ends on Friday, December 1, 2023.

Furthermore, the Asscociation has summoned National Economy & Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis under his capacity as a lawyer to elaborate on the particulars of the specific bill, on Wednesday, November 29, at the association’s offices.
