Athens Taxis on 24-hour strike, on March 23

Τaxi union SATA has announced a 24-hour taxi strike for Thursday, March 23, 2023. The strike will begin at 06:00 on Thursday morning and will end at 06.00 on Friday morning.

According to the announcement of the union, there will be a gathering on Kavala Avenue at 11:00 in the morning and a march to the Ministry of Transport.

“Athens taxis will remind the Ministry of Transport, what it did not do for the taxi, what it did for the rental with a driver, what it did not do to prevent the multinational applications from gnawing away at the taxi driver’s daily wage.”

Public transport means in Athens are expected to operate as usual.
