WWF: Beauties of Greece “Natura 2000” sites exhibited in Athens

A photographic exhibition capturing the richness and the beauty of Greece’s “Natura 2000” sites is hosted by the WWF Hellas along the fence of the National Garden from 21 May to 6 June, 2025.

According to WWF Hellas, the exhibition is being held on the occasion of the European Natura 2000 Day on 21 May, the day the world’s largest network of protected areas was created.

Through 41 photographs, the invaluable wealth of Greek nature is showcased, captured by distinguished Greek photographers who excelled in the national photography competition “Natura 2000 – Click on Nature” over the past three years.

The photographic competition took place in the framework of the LIFE-IP 4 NATURA project, where WWF Hellas and the magazine “Photographer” gathered more than 10,000 images of professional and amateur photographers, which highlight the rare beauty of the ecologically most valuable areas of Greece.
