Every Friday evening hundreds of thousands of Greeks are glued to their TV sets watching the latest episode of “Fos sto Tounel,” or “Light in the Tunnel,” by investigative journalist Angeliki Nikolouli.
Nikolouli has earned a reputation as a hard hitting, serious journalist who has real sway in many of the largest criminal cases in Greece.
Her show not only helps to bring awareness to murder cases and disappearances, but it also often includes new information that may point to a perpetrator or the location of a missing person.
In fact, information from her show, which has been on the air since 1995, has helped the police solve nearly 20 criminal cases.
