Son stabs mother to death, tries to dispose body with cousin’s help

Shocking murder in central Greece: a 21-year-old man stabbed his 52-year-old mother to death and tried to dispose the body with the help of a cousin.

The murder took place on Monday morning at the family home in the city of Larissa, when the son killed his mother with a knife.

According to initial information, mother and son had an argument prior to the murder.

After the brutal killing, the son called his cousin to help him dispose of the body.

They wrapped the dead woman in a blanket and in the afternoon they tried to take her out of the apartment.

However, a neighbor saw them at the entrance to the apartment building, he saw fingers and blood protruding from the blanket and called the police.

The police who arrived at the building found the woman stabbed inside the blanket, and apparently son and nephew had left the scene leaving the body behind.

After a pursuit, both the son and the nephew were arrested for the murder of the 52-year-old woman.

The family had never any issues with the authorities.
