Mitsotakis began a two-day visit to the United States, where he is scheduled to meet President Joe Biden the same day and address a joint session in Congress on Tuesday.
In an interview prior to his meeting at the White House, the Greek prime minister was interviewed by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

Credit: Greek PM Press OfficeHe spoke about how Greece was getting back on track after a painful ten-year economic crisis and the two-year coronavirus pandemic, to see American companies investing in Greece and tourists from the US expected to arrive on a record number of direct flights to the country.
Greece is a stable partner in a difficult region of the world, and is playing an active role in establishing ties with the Middle East, linking it with Europe and turning the country into a key energy hub in the region, he noted.
