Hellenic Diaspora Medical Forum Kicks Off in Thessaloniki

A host of prominent Greek doctors and academics from all corners of the globe have gathered in Thessaloniki for the two-day Hellenic Diaspora Medical Forum which starts on Friday.

It is an initiative of the Department of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), in collaboration with the Hellenic Society of Medical Education, with the aim of collaborating with prominent Professors of Europe and the USA, to create a network of research, teaching, and administration.

The organizers hope that the forum would assist in research collaboration between the AUTh and relevant departments in foreign universities, facilitate and grant scholarships, fellowships and all sorts of academic visits between Greece and abroad and promote
the mobility of students, teachers and other staff.
