Heavy snowfalls and low temperatures in the mountainous areas of Thessaloniki, in Kavala, Halkidiki, Florina, Xanthi, Serres, Drama forced local authorities to close schools as roads became inaccessible and the cold and white spell is forecast to continue until tomorrow morning, Tuesday, April 10. 2025.
