Head of National Meteorological Service Thodoris Kolidas painted “dragons in the clouds” and trolled Greek meteorologists and weather presenters for their claims of “heavy snow weather.”

The snow weather “controversy” erupted already last week, the moment the heavy rain weather was over and some meteorologists immediately started heralding an upcoming snow disaster.

With a post on his personal twitter account, the director of the National Meteorological Service, Thodoris Kolydas, drew dragons on the clouds, wanting to mock those meteorologists who claim that snow is coming.

In particular, he wrote in his humorous text:

“Dragons in Europe are associated with the elements of fire and in Korea with the elements of water and nature. They are believed to cause clouds and rain. Are there “dragons” that bring snow in Greece? Have a nice month! #Cumulus_Congestus”
