A total of 8,635 cases were recorded in the country the day before on Sunday, and 51 people died with the virus.
In the past 24-hour period, a total of 76,465 PCR and rapid coronavirus tests, a very low number, were conducted across the country. The positivity rate in Greece reached 9% on Monday.
Since the pandemic began, Greece has confirmed a total of 3,180,556 coronavirus infections.
A total of 2,478 Covid-19 cases were recorded in the region of Attica, home to the capital city of Athens, on Monday.
