Shops in Greece will operate with the festive opening hours for Easter 2025 so that consumers will have enough time to do their shopping.
The festive hours start on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Stores will operate continuously and will be open also on Sunday, April 13.
Easter 2025 opening hours
- Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 9 am to 9 pm
- Friday, April 11, 2025, from 9 am to 9 pm
- Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9 am to 5 pm
- Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 11 am to 4 pm
How stores will operate during Holy Week
The store hours during Holy Week will be as follows:
- From Holy Monday to Holy Thursday, April 14-17 stores will be open from 9 am to 9 pm
- On Good Friday, April 18, open from 1 pm to 7 pm
- On Good Saturday, April 19, open from 9 am to 3 pm
Note that supermarkets may differ in their operation hours especially on Good Saturday.
On Easter Sunday, April 20, and Easter Monday, April 21, stores will be closed because these days are holidays.
Note that shops in the countryside may have a different operation schedule.
