The fight broke out shortly after a Wizz Air flight from London’s Gatwick airport touched down in Chania, Crete, with the British man allegedly punching other travelers and the pilot, the British tabloid The Sun reports.
Tourists said the culprit and his friend were smoking and vaping throughout the journey and threatening fellow travelers. They became intoxicated before even boarding.
The passenger’s anger boiled over when he was told he would be escorted to the airport by police, witnesses said.
