3-year-old boy fatally hit by a car in eastern Attica

Α 3-year-old boy was fatally hit by a car and probably died on the spot  early afternoon on Tuesday in Spata village of eastern Attica

The incident happened at around 2 p.m. and according to preliminary information, the toddler allegedly tried to cross the road. The boy was then run over by a car driven by a 58-year-old man…

The driver of the vehicle, along with the victim’s mother, immediately took the boy and transported him to the Health Center that was very near. There, the doctors could only confirm his death.

According to initial information, the boy appears to have let go of his mother’s hand and headed towards the road where he was run over by the car.

The driver was arrested, while the Traffic Police have taken over the preliminary investigation of the exact circumstances of the incident.
