Olympiacos eased past AEK 2-0 at the Georgios Karaiskakis in Piraeus to reclaim top spot in the Super League ahead of PAOK by two points.
The Piraeus club were the better team in the bad-blooded game deserved their win. Defender Ruben Semedo prodded Olympiacos in front after nine minutes, and Mady Camara fired in a second with 13 minutes to go as Pedro Martins’ side continued their unbeaten start to the campaign.
PAOK also won 2-0 on Saturday, at the Panthessaliko Stadium of Volos, courtesy of goals by Dimitris Limnios and Dimitris Pelkas.
OFI is now third after it defeated fourth Xanthi 2-0 also on Saturday.
