Greek stocks end slightly lower

Greek stocks ended slightly lower in the first trading session of the week in the Athens Stock Exchange, pushing the composite index of the market below the 580-point level. The index fell 0.47 pct to end at 579.88 point, after rising as much as 0.59 pct early in the day. The Large Cap index fell 0.14 pct and the Mid Cap index ended 0.59 pct down.

PPC Renewables to install 12 new wind farms with a total capacity of 31.8 MW

The Public Power Corporation (PPC) renewable energy subsidiary PPC Renewables on Monday announced plans for the installation of 12 new wind farms with a total capacity of 31.8 MW in Sitia, Evia and other Aegean islands.

The company unveiled the planned tender procedure on Monday for a 10-day period of public consultation.

Greek budget shows primary surplus of 6.497 bln euros in Jan-Oct

The majority of Greek retailers were less satisfied with their sales during the interim autumn sales season this year compared with 2015, a survey by Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE) said.

Greek economy shows signs of recovery

The Greek economy shows signs of recovery and a view of stabilization, the Federation of Hellenic Enterprises (SEV) said in its weekly bulletin on economic developments in the country, noting that Greek GDP grew 1.5 pct in the third quarter of 2016 and the EU's autumn forecasts for a 2.7 pct growth rate in 2017 and 3.1 pct in 2018 in Greece.
