Barrage of Turkish F-16 Overflights Recorded in Eastern Aegean

The Hellenic (Greek) National Defense General Staff, or GEETHA, announced on Friday afternoon that a series of overflights conducted by Turkish F-16 fighter jets above Greek islands were recorded on Friday.

More specifically, in a total period of just twenty-one minutes, Greece recorded nine overflights above her islands and islets of Arkoi, Leipsoi, Farmakonisi, and Agios Menas in the Eastern Aegean Sea.

The highest altitude at which these overflights took place was at 38,000 feet and the lowest altitude was at only 6,000 feet above sea level.

All the incidents took place between 16:04 and 16:25 EEST, showing the intentionality of these actions.
